Why texting campaigns get rejected

If your business sends texts from a regular local number through Twilio, GoHighLevel, Podium or a similar tool, US carriers make you register your brand (who you are) and your campaign (what you text and how people agreed to it). Reviewers reject campaigns for small, fixable reasons, and the rejection notice rarely explains what to change. The four we see most:

Name mismatch

The legal name or EIN doesn't match your IRS letter, or your brand name (DBA) isn't explained anywhere.

Missing SMS privacy language

Your privacy policy has to say you don't share mobile numbers or texting consent with third parties for marketing.

Weak opt-in

No checkbox, a pre-checked box, or missing "message and data rates may apply" and STOP/HELP language.

Vague samples

Sample messages that don't match your use case, don't name your business, or use bit.ly links.

What we do for $299

  • Review your brand and campaign status and every rejection code
  • Fix or write the SMS section of your privacy policy and an SMS terms section
  • Fix your opt-in: website checkbox language, plus keyword, paper or QR wording if you use them
  • Rewrite your campaign description, message flow and sample messages
  • Make the website edits ourselves if your site allows it, or give your web person exact copy-and-paste text
  • Guide you through resubmitting in your own account. We edit the existing campaign rather than deleting it, so you don't pay a second $15 vetting fee.
  • Help with resubmissions of the same campaign for 60 days

Not included: Carrier and provider fees, which you pay directly to your provider. Twilio currently lists a $4.50 brand registration, $15 per campaign for vetting, and $1.50–$10 per month per campaign; Standard brands add $41.50 for vetting. Confirm the fees in your own account, because CRMs may charge differently. Also not included: legal advice, and messaging about alcohol, cannabis, firearms, tobacco or adult content (carriers don't allow it, and better wording can't change that).

Questions people ask

Can you guarantee approval?

No. Carriers and The Campaign Registry make the decision, and nobody honest can promise approval. We fix the things reviewers publicly say they check.

What are the carrier fees?

You pay them directly to your provider. Twilio's published fees are a $4.50 one-time brand registration, $15 one-time vetting per campaign and $1.50–$10 per campaign per month. Standard brands add $41.50 for secondary vetting. Check your own provider, because some CRMs bundle or mark up these fees.

Do I need an EIN?

Not always. Businesses without an EIN can register as a "sole proprietor" brand, which has lower limits. If your business has an EIN, carriers require you to register with it.

Do you need my passwords?

No. You add us as a user in your platform, or we work together on a screen share. Never send passwords or tax documents through the form.

I'm on GoHighLevel, Podium or another CRM. Can you still help?

Yes. These tools register through the same carrier system. The website and wording fixes are the same.

How long does approval take?

Sole proprietor campaigns are often decided within hours to days. Standard campaigns can take several weeks. We turn our part around in about 3 business days.

Is this legal advice or "TCPA compliance"?

No. We prepare the website and registration materials carriers ask for. For legal questions about texting laws, talk to an attorney.

Can I do this myself for free?

Yes. Twilio and other providers publish their requirements, and the self-check above covers the common problems. You'd hire us to save the time and the trial and error.
